SF started as a solo act in 2008 while Sørensen was in NZ completing a BFA.

Griggs became an official member of the band in 2017.

The pair have since combined forces, weaving Ellen’s whimsical piano ballads with Jonathon’s proclivity for fuzz guitar and space echo pedals.

Together they create a sound resembling echoes through trees and a nod to the perils & virtues of life’s darker ventures.
